Job Description
Under direct supervision of the Food & Beverage (F&B) Director, the F&B Supervisor will monitor their assigned restaurant(s) ensuring swift, positive, and friendly guest service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the food and beverage staff and the operations of assigned venues
- Consistently demonstrate superior customer service and act as a positive role model for all team members
- Convey positive energy and enthusiasm focusing on guest interactions
- Immediately address service issues and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
- Direct the daily work activities of assigned personnel
- Properly schedule and assign stations while managing labor costs
- Maintain filing accuracy in daily logbook
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness
- Coach, counsel, discipline and train team members in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assist with special and routine projects as necessary
- Maintain a professional demeanor and a positive working relationship with all team members
- Promote harmony and foster positive attitudes toward the company
- Inspire team members with clear direction and get them excited about being a part of the company
- Ensure that food is prepared and served according to the desired portions and quality specifications
- Ensure adherence to Board of Health standards
- Provide support for the Beverage department during the absence of the manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license
- Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills
- Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Fluency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with food and beverage point-of-sale inventory systems
- Willing and able to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work in sunny, hot, humid, cold and rainy conditions
