Location: Various locations across Indiana, including Evansville Psychiatric Children's Center, Evansville State Hospital, Logansport State Hospital, Madison State Hospital, Richmond State Hospital, and the Indianapolis Neurodiagnostic Institute.

Position Overview
Join our team as an Occupational Therapist (OT) at a state-operated hospital in Indiana. In this leadership role, you will serve as a senior therapist or treatment team leader, designing and implementing individualized therapy plans, guiding staff, and ensuring alignment with patient IEP goals. Lead dynamic therapy sessions, adapt specialized equipment, and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on empowering patients to achieve independence.

Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid Indiana OT license and NBCOT certification.
- Experience: 3+ years in OT, including leadership/senior roles; hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in IEP integration, adaptive device modification, treatment planning, and documentation.
- Soft Skills: Leadership, adaptability, teamwork, mentorship, and strong communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead evaluations, develop treatment plans, and oversee therapy services for patients.
- Direct individual/group therapy aligned with IEP goals and patient needs.
- Train and mentor direct care staff on OT techniques and best practices.
- Adapt/modify therapy devices (splints, utensils) to enhance patient skills.
- Document progress, recommend future goals, and report outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care strategies.
