Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage and promote a safety culture where employees meet or exceed customer requirements for electrical services.
- Generates an acceptable level of return on the capital committed to the area.
- Ensures that all operations are conducted in a safe manner and that employees cultivate and maintain a good safety awareness attitude participation through daily and monthly safety meetings and training sessions.
- Performs case management of any employee injuries and engages the safety department.
- Takes Action to reduce and/or control claims involving property damage or personal injury. This includes the correction of unsafe acts and conditions, investigation of accidents, implementing prevention ideas and administrating disciplinary action if warranted.
- Maintains acceptable cost levels with the planning and establishment of effective controls on Maintenance and Repair and G&A Expenses.
- Manages Procurement of all materials for jobs and ensures the are billed to customers.
- Managing budget and monitoring the financial health of Expanse Electrical Services
- Keen strategic thinking and planning
- Overseeing projects and interpreting performance reports.
- Understanding of budget management and financial monitoring
- Hold supervisors accountable for employees turning in legible and accurate field tickets before submission to administrative assistant.
- Spot review of work tickets before submission to customers for approval
- Timely resolution of disputes with customers on work tickets or invoices
- Ensures that an effective equipment, safety, and maintenance inspection program is being applied to all equipment assigned to this area.
- QA/QC
- Maintain compliance with required DOT initiatives at the branch.
- Administers all company policies and procedures and ensures compliance.
- Develops and maintains an acceptable customer base and participates in marketing activities directed toward expansion of the same, which includes phone calls to customers and driving to customer meetings.
Requirements
- 5+ of Management in Oil/Gas Electrical Trade experience.
- Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
- Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
- Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.
- Preferably holds a Journeyman License
- Must possess a Valid Driver's License
