What You’ll Do
Accountable for operational excellence, process engineering, lab, and EHS at all East Texas locations
Lead process engineering scopes from concept and modeling validation, through procurement, engineering, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and ramp
Lead selected commissioning activities of new sites
Work in cross functional teams with engineering, operations, maintenance, and software functions.
Build first-principles-based models of chemical unit operations to validate and scale-up designs
Identify, evaluate, and implement engineering solutions to optimize processes, confirming functionality and performance under various operating conditions.
Work closely with the software and machine learning teams to automate capital project and refinery execution workflows
What You’ll Bring
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and demonstrated ability to leverage the understanding to solve challenging problems
Experience with process engineering and design. Including but not limited to:
Evaluation and optimization of operating equipment
Commissioning experience of new equipment and processes
Experience with the following industries and/or production environments:
Large-scale mining or mineral processing
Large-scale chemical production processes
