TAT Technologies is looking for qualified Landing Gear (LG) Crew Chief. This position will oversee and perform services as described below. Possess extensive knowledge of Landing Gears and components. Perform at a high level of efficiency, decision making and energy. Possess Integrity as an individual and employee.
This important position must be able to perform the following duties:
- Responsible for the overall development, planning, training, safety, coordinating, cleanliness, organization, part protection, flow, efficiencies, standard times, deadlines, part needs, sub-work orders and travelers related to Landing Gears, LRUs, components, parts and tools.
- Knowledge of the Analytical task is preferred with special consideration going to candidates that have extensive Analytical & Quality tasks within the Aviation MRO field.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment related to area.
- Responsible for meeting customer and contract turn times.
- Responsible for communicating with other departments to meet task.
- Responsible for time & attendance for each technician in the department.
- Responsible for segregation of airworthy and non-airworthy parts and FAA and non-FAA components.
- Write technical and accurate reports as needed.
- Work independently of others as well as teams.
- Accurately complete work orders, BOMs, data inputs within ERP system.
- Read, understand and comply with Commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, ITAR and ISO documentations.
- Process proper tools.
- Understand and practice safe and efficient productive use of tools.
- Mentor and train other personnel.
- Operate, maintain and service specialized equipment.
