Job Summary:

The pharmacy support associate role assists in the inventory and stock management functions for pharmacy services. The person is responsible for handling inventory and medications and products already prepared for distribution to a patient or facility.

Job Duties:

  • Performs clerical duties consistent with the work area into which the employee is hired
  • Involvement in different areas of pharmacy-related shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Prepares verified medications for delivery to patient, representative, or healthcare worker.
  • Maintains pharmacy by fulfilling daily operational needs
  • Follows and maintains all HIPPA guidelines and requirements with patient information
  • Maintains financial, reimbursement, and patient assistance paperwork, where applicable.
