Job Details
The Support Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and smooth operation of pharmacy production. This individual will be responsible for processing prescription orders, managing inventory, resolving medication order issues, and maintaining workflow along the conveyor belt. The Support Technician will work closely with inventory teams, filling technicians, and other pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery to patients.
This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a commitment to upholding our core values while delivering on our Patient Promise.
Responsibilities
Process all prescription orders submitted to production.
Investigate and resolve missing, delayed, or erroneous orders.
Add and update NDCs in Coreflex, ensuring inventory accuracy.
Rebill prescriptions as needed and handle allocation errors.
Create and manage cases for backordered medications and order errors.
Perform inventory transfers, adjustments, and maintain stock levels.
Ensure address changes and order corrections are completed promptly.
Induct and prioritize vial orders onto the conveyor belt.
Monitor station queues and maintain an organized workflow.
Ensure prescription add-ons are processed accurately and efficiently.
Package and prepare orders for shipment to patients.
Maintain a clean, organized filling station and ensure proper stock levels.
Meet daily pharmacy goals to guarantee timely patient deliveries.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve patient issues.
Exhibit core values in daily work and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Must be 18+ years of age with a high school diploma/GED.
Prior pharmacy technician experience preferred.
Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) and state registration (if applicable) preferred.
Ability to work full-time in a fast-paced environment. (9am to 5:30pm CST)
