Job Description

Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard

Location: Cleveland

Duties:

Observation: observe suspicious personnel or personnel behaving inappropriately and showing hostility.
Monitor potentially unauthorized personnel.
Assistance: assist Police and personnel with incapacitated patients as needed.
Customer Service: shall meet and interact with the general public in a manner that promotes a positive image of the VA.
Shall serve at fixed posts or patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle.
Shall direct traffic, control parking, and issue courtesy violation notices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be literate in English to the extent of reading and understanding printed regulation, detailed written orders, training instruction and material.
Must have the ability to meet and deal with the public in a professional manner.
Shall be properly licensed by Federal, State, and local authorities.
