Job Title: HW Design Engineer- Aerospace Industry
Location: Irvine, CA

  • Knowledge on Qualification testing as per DO160
  • Experience in HW design and development of Analog and Micro Controller Based Circuit design (LV, HV, TI Microcontroller) for Aircraft systems
  • Good Experience in ORCAD for Schematic capture / Update
  • Test Jig / Test Equipment design for card level testing and trouble shooting.
  • Experience in preparing planning documents and Requirement analysis
  • Expertise in using IBM DOORS
  • Responsible for understanding the requirements and implementation.
  • Responsible for updating traceability matrix between requirements and implementation.
  • Involve in Change Request analysis, Correction and Verification Activities.
  • Responsible for understanding the requirements to write test cases and test procedures as per DO160.
  • Perform environmental tests as per DO160 and generate test reports test environment.
  • Coordinating with cross functional teams for Development and Verification activities.
  • Responsible for performing Design Review and updating the
  • Design.
  • Circuit Analysis for Component Obsolescence / Alternate component Identification.
  • Conduct reviews of the test cases, test procedures, and test results
  • Responsible for understanding the CR Development and Verification Activities.
 
Qualification and additional skills:
 
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Knowledge of aircraft or electronic systems.
  • Effective oral/written communication skills (including technical writing).
  • Hands on Experience in Circuit Board design and development for aircraft systems
 
Compensation: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
