Job Description
What You'll Do:
The Director of Convention Services oversees all activities and personnel within the Convention Services department to make sure that conventions are successful, and our guests satisfied.
Here are just a couple of the tasks you'll be responsible for on a daily basis:
- Train all Convention Services personnel.
- Act as liaison between conference services clients and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Directs the scheduling of conferences and coordinates with other departments.
- Develop sales and marketing plans to maximize hotel revenue.
Where You've Been:
You're someone with at least 3 years of hotel catering/sales experience and at least 1 year in a hotel management position. We're looking for some who can communicate clearly in a positive and professional manner, can perform under pressure, and can assist clients in all their requests (even the more challenging ones)!
