Job Description

METRO PARK WAREHOUSES, LLC. 

We are looking for a Warehouse Traffic Coordinator to facilitate day-to-day transportation operations for Metro Park Warehouses.

$20-$23 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Conduct and manage transportation operations to control carrier deliveries, determine shipping configurations, loading requirements, and loading/offloading capabilities
  • Daily communication with management regarding the status and logistics of deliveries and pick-ups to ensure quality service is provided to customers
  • Document and communicate any routing or delivery delays
  • Support dispatchers in their duties of dispatching trucks to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure all deliveries/pick-ups are done efficiently, specific customer requests or concerns are communicated to all transportation employees
  • Communicate with drivers on approximate delivery times when customers call for updates
  • Provide updates to the transportation team on delivery inquiries and delivery changes
  • Follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety
  • Meet daily needs of operations in terms of equipment needs and priorities
  • Audit business unit expense invoices and communicate invoice discrepancies to vendor
  • Approve invoices in the company's accounting system

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working in the transportation industry required
  • 1+ years of experience with trucking dispatch required
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Outstanding organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
