Job Description

LaBella Associates is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer in our Rochester, NY office.

Duties

  • Preparation of electrical design drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Responsible for project construction (submittal review, construction observation, and punch lists)
  • Interact closely with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects
  • Prepare electrical design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Perform lighting calculations and arc flash studies.
  • Perform field investigations to document existing conditions.

Requirements

  • Building system design experience focused on power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security systems & telecommunication
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with electrical modeling programs – Lighting software AGi32, Power software SKM
  • Familiarity with Arc-Flash Evaluation
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years engineering experience involving building systems projects
  • Strong writing, organizational and communications skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • On path towards New York PE license preferred, not required

Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
