Job Description:

Summary:

This position will support the social media accounts and webpages for AU Honors, DC Community Impact Scholars, and AU Catalyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content and stories for the social media accounts of AU Honors, DC Community Impact Scholars Programs.

  • Assist in maintaining the websites for the three programs.

  • Assist with gathering information, composing, and distributing the AU Honors newsletter.

  • Maintain the social media e-mailbox of the three programs and respond to inquiries.

  • Assist in marketing and promotion of these programs, as well as with Admissions events.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part time.

  • Up to 20 hours per week.

Salary Range:

  • $17.95 - $21.00 per hour.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be a current AU graduate student.

  • Experience managing social media (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc).

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and all social media platforms.

  • Must be well organized, able to take initiative and work under minimal supervision.
