About The Opportunity

The person in the Maintenance Support position is responsible for keeping the general plant area clean. This person is responsible for inside housekeeping and outside grounds keeping.

Essential Functions:

Collect garbage in plant daily

Wash tables in Training Room each Wednesday

Sweep the floors in maintenance upstairs and downstairs once a week

Remove all cobwebs from ceiling upstairs and downstairs once a week

Wipe the tops of the lockers in employee locker area (by both lunch rooms) once a week

Clean-up outside area around the entire plant on a weekly basis

Organize cleaning and maintenance supplies Inform purchasing when supplies need replenishing Place recyclables in proper bins or containers

Pack and recycle the printer cartridges Perform minor building and grounds maintenance, such as:

• Scrapping, Painting and high pressure washing
• Picking up stones, scrap ect

Participate in BRC monthly clean ups

Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner

Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business

Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed

Ability to effectively work in teams

Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people

Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles

Ability to read a tape measure/ruler Good mathematical skills
