Job Description
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Lead to support U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).
Responsibilities:
Designs, implements, and manages virtualization technologies and environments to optimize IT infrastructure and resource utilization in support of Enterprise Data Center (EDC) operations services
Configures and maintains virtual machines and manages hypervisors
Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to virtualization infrastructure, including performance and connectivity problems
Assists with the integration of site-specific hardware, firmware, and software into the DAO baseline
Assists with the design and implementation of virtualization systems and network improvements as
Helps to identify redundant systems and excessive operational costs that do not significantly impact system availability and security
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
Plans and leads major technology assignments
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
May supervise others
Qualifications:
Required:
US Citizen with active Secret security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
One or more of the following certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) License, Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
5-8 years of relevant experience
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments while supporting multiple projects
Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$98,500-$206,800
