Role Overview
Mariana Minerals is looking for a highly motivated and analytically sharp professional to help build the future of the critical minerals supply chain.
In this Corporate Development role, you will lead and support key workstreams across capital formation, financial modeling, and strategic planning—spanning both our project-level entities and the parent company. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, software, and operations teams to drive development of our software-enabled mineral facilities. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with significant growth potential. We welcome candidates across experience levels, including those with backgrounds in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or industrials.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain financial models across development-stage mineral extraction, processing, and refining projects
Prepare investor presentations, board materials, and internal financial dashboards
Analyze project-level economics, including IRRs, break-even pricing, and capital efficiency
Support both project-level and corporate-level capital raise processes, including due diligence, data rooms, and term sheet development
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to refine assumptions and align technical and financial planning
Track and forecast company-wide cash flow, capital needs, and cost performance
Benchmark operating and capital cost assumptions against industry data
Conduct market research on commodity pricing, macro trends, and peer transactions
Support structuring of joint ventures, offtake agreements, and other commercial partnerships
What You’ll Bring
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Solid understanding of corporate finance and project finance fundamentals
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical data into strategic insight
Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
Investment banking, private equity, or project finance
Natural resources, energy infrastructure, or industrial project development
Startups or high-growth environments
Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership
Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
