Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full Time

Company: Bakersfield Post Acute

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Pay range: starting btwn $46-$47/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Assist residents in performing therapeutic activities and exercises to improve functional abilities.
  • Provide guidance and education to residents and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Valid licensure to practice as a COTA in the state of California.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
