Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full Time
Company: Bakersfield Post Acute
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Pay range: starting btwn $46-$47/hr
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Assist residents in performing therapeutic activities and exercises to improve functional abilities.
- Provide guidance and education to residents and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
Requirements:
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Valid licensure to practice as a COTA in the state of California.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
