Title:  Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) 
Location: Hampton
Setting: Clinic Based 
Hours: Flexible Ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week  
**Part-time employees are required to work afternoon hours (3pm-6pm) at least 1 to 2 days per week.
 
Compensation: $65,000 to $95,000

Prefer more stability? Our Hybrid Salary Option provides a consistent base salary for a typical 40-hour workweek, plus additional compensation for any clients you see beyond that. Whether you’re a PT, SLP, or OT, both models give you the balance of financial security and the flexibility to grow your monthly earnings — on your terms.

Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of children to assess physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities and limitations to determine their therapy needs and goals. 
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that outline goals, interventions, and timelines for the child. 
  • Conduct mobility, feeding, and cognitive tests. 
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support the child’s development. 
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. 
  • Teach parents how to perform exercises with their children and assist the child in completing exercises at home. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
     
Requirements: 
  • Master’s degree in therapy from an accredited program required. 
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia. 
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. 
  • Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Therapy   
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment and modalities. 
  • Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each pediatric patient. 
  • Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience in administering various assessment tools, treatment plans and equipment.   
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
