Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Lead Technical Support Specialist to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive program lifecycle support to the Program Manager (PM). The ideal candidate will focus on advanced materials and microsystems technologies. This role involves shaping new programs, supporting program execution, and managing transitions with an emphasis on cutting-edge research in inorganic materials, thin film deposition, materials characterization, and emerging semiconductor technologies. Work Location: Arlington, VA (Minimum 50% on-site required)
Required Experience:
- PhD in Materials Science or Chemical Engineering (Master’s acceptable with equivalent experience).
- Expertise in: inorganic materials and chemistry, thin film deposition techniques, materials characterization, emerging semiconductor materials.
- Strong foundation in experimental design and broad knowledge of materials science
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Experience:
- Prior DARPA or government S&T program experience, including new starts and PIP development.
- Exceptional PowerPoint and technical presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to adapt in a cross-disciplinary, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with performer engagement and technical assessments.
- A passion for science, innovation, and advancing national technology initiatives.
