SafeHaven is seeking a Donations Pick-Up Driver.
The Donations Pick-Up Driver plays a key role in supporting SafeHaven's operations by driving agency vehicles to pick up and transport donated goods and other agency items to our resale store and various locations. This role includes hands-on work loading and unloading items, interacting with donors, and issuing donation receipts (if needed). The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and committed to our mission.
Responsibilities
• Safely operate an agency vehicle to pick up donations and transport to SafeHaven's resale store and other agency locations.
• Load and unload items from vehicle.
• Assist donors with donation process in a courteous and professional manner.
• Issue tax receipts when needed.
• Support the staff and donation team with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of relevant driving, delivery or warehouse experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and provide proof of current automobile liability insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs., and carry up to 100 lbs., with or without assistance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must represent SafeHaven with professionalism and courtesy.
