Ophthalmologist - Bronx, NY (#1583)

Minimum of 5-10 years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology

Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking an Ophthalmologist to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Bronx, New York

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosis and Treatment:
    • Conducting comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and identify eye diseases and conditions. 
    • Diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and infections. 
    • Prescribing corrective lenses (eyeglasses and contact lenses). 
    • Performing minor and major eye surgeries, such as cataract removal, LASIK, and other procedures. 
    • Managing chronic eye conditions and prescribing appropriate medications. 
  • Patient Care and Education:
    • Educating patients about eye health, preventive measures, and proper eye care practices. 
    • Providing guidance on managing eye conditions and promoting healthy vision. 
    • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. 
  • Surgical Procedures:
    • Performing a variety of surgical procedures to correct vision problems and treat eye diseases. 
    • Utilizing advanced surgical techniques, including laser surgery. 
  • Research and Innovation:
    • Staying updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology. 
    • Participating in research activities to improve eye care. 
  • Professional Development:
    • Maintaining detailed medical records for patients. 
    • Instructing interns, residents, and other healthcare professionals in ophthalmologic procedures. 

Requirements

  • Must have an active NY State License
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Must have 5-10 years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology, with a strong background in both medical and surgical eye care.
