Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking an Ophthalmologist to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Bronx, New York
Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and Treatment:
- Conducting comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and identify eye diseases and conditions.
- Diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and infections.
- Prescribing corrective lenses (eyeglasses and contact lenses).
- Performing minor and major eye surgeries, such as cataract removal, LASIK, and other procedures.
- Managing chronic eye conditions and prescribing appropriate medications.
- Patient Care and Education:
- Educating patients about eye health, preventive measures, and proper eye care practices.
- Providing guidance on managing eye conditions and promoting healthy vision.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Surgical Procedures:
- Performing a variety of surgical procedures to correct vision problems and treat eye diseases.
- Utilizing advanced surgical techniques, including laser surgery.
- Research and Innovation:
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology.
- Participating in research activities to improve eye care.
- Professional Development:
- Maintaining detailed medical records for patients.
- Instructing interns, residents, and other healthcare professionals in ophthalmologic procedures.
Requirements
- Must have an active NY State License
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Must have 5-10 years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology, with a strong background in both medical and surgical eye care.
