Position Overview:

Reporting to the Service Manager, the role of Service Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Service Department, while ensuring the highest level of service for our customers. Focusing on effective communication between Service team members and customers, this role requires a high level of attention to detail with strong analytical, customer service and organizational skills. The right candidate will have prior experience in a customer service and/or administrative construction role, with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. This is an onsite, full-time role with regular business hours of 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM, depending on business needs.

 

Position Responsibilities:

          Respond to in-person, telephone, email and fax inquiries from customers, internal departments and external partners;

          Process and input weekly payroll;

          Coordinate and maintain the department’s administrative aspects of filing, documentation, invoicing, collections and customer service;

          Assist Service Manager and Service Superintendent with project management including contract coordination, lien waivers and labor tracking;

          Maintain departmental reports as required;

          Create, schedule and maintain all service work orders;

          Create and bill service tickets;

          Work closely with Service Technicians to ensure all work orders are properly opened, closed and documented;

          Investigate and resolve problems related to areas of responsibility; gather and analyze information and act accordingly;

          Attend department meetings and communicate effectively with service technicians and national service team; and

          Additional duties as assigned.

 

Position Requirements:

          Proven experience in a service-oriented or customer-facing role, preferably within commercial roofing or construction industry (required).

          Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on active listening. Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

          Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills (strongly preferred).

          Excellent time management, organizational and analytical skills.

          Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

          Highschool diploma required. College coursework preferred.

 

Working Conditions:

          Office environment with typical office machines and exposure to noise and temperature.

          Extensive sitting, standing, bending, standing, walking are all expected activities. Ability to lift more than 25 lbs. on occasion.

Compensation: Starting at $60,000; DOE
