Physical Therapy Assist

Highlights of your role:

A Physical Therapy Assistant treats patients per physician order utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques. The Physical Therapy Assistant communicates with families, physicians and other health team members regarding residents, maintains timely documentation, and maintains current clinical knowledge through continuing education.

Location: Warroad and Roseau
Shift: Daytime Regular
Job Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 40
FTE: 1.0 Temporary position June-September 2025

Pay: $24.06-$34.89

What you’ll get to do in this role:

Follows treatment plans maintaining timely and accurate records according to policies, procedures and regulations.

Maintains active and supportive communications with the patient, significant others, physicians and other team members concerning progress, problems, home programs, follow-up, and other issues related to the therapeutic process.

Maintains a positive rapport with all staff at all times through professional appearance and actions.

Communicates pertinent information on a timely basis to supervisor and seeks guidance necessary for performance of duties. Responds appropriately to clinical supervision as indicated.

Maintains knowledge of current educational and clinical guidelines, trends, and procedures.

Coordinates and communicates care and discharge plans with appropriate medical staff including but not limited to Physicians, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and Dieticians.

 

You’re an excellent fit, if you have:

• current MN PTA license
• AAS, BA, or BS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
• BLS certification 
• good communication and active listening skills
• compassion
• good detail orientaiton skills
• excellent teamwork skills
• good problem solving skills
