Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and collaborative Part-Time Outpatient Therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, effective communicator, culturally responsive clinician, and lifelong learner who is committed to making a difference in the lives of others.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed individual and group psychotherapy to clients using evidence-based interventions

  • Conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and provide ongoing evaluation of client progress

  • Offer crisis intervention and family support services as needed

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards

  • Attend clinical supervision, team meetings, and continuing education or in-service training

  • Operate assigned technology platforms and practice management tools efficiently

  • Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure continuity of care

  • Uphold the values of integrity, compassion, and ethical care in all client interactions


Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field

  • Active New Jersey licensure as an LAC, LPC, LSW, or LCSW

  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a mental health setting

  • Strong clinical skills and cultural competence

  • Experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan

Preferred Specializations:

  • Trauma-focused therapy and/or racial trauma

  • Working with youth and individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (I/DD)

  • Multilingual or bilingual

  • Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC)

  • Experience supporting LGBTQIA+ clients

  • Sexualized behavior treatment and/or parenting interventions

  • Experience serving historically marginalized or underrepresented communities


Position Type:

  • Part-time (16–20 hours/week)

  • Hourly compensation; flexible scheduling

  • Hybrid/telehealth model

  • Benefits may apply after a designated introductory period
