Baptist Health & Rehab, a Cassia community, is hiring a Restorative Therapy Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our "best of the best" care team! As a Restorative Therapy Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Baptist Health & Rehab, you'll work with our therapy and nursing teams to provide rehabilitation care for residents recovering from physical injuries. This includes assisting with positioning, transfers and therapeutic exercises. You will also perform 4 hours of CNA duties during your shift.
Position Type: Full-Time
Shifts: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (6am-10am as CNA; 10a-6p as Restorative Therapy Aide)
Location: 3400 Nebraska Drive, Bismarck, ND 58503
Restorative Therapy Aide/ CNA Responsibilities:
- Prepare residents for treatment therapy and follow individual care plans.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, using wheelchairs or providing standing support.
- Assist with body positioning, transfers, therapeutic exercises, active or passive range of motion.
- Document services performed on computerized charting system.
- Prepare, clean and maintain work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Restorative Therapy Aide/ CNA Qualifications:
- Good standing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the North Dakota Registry.
- 1+ year of LTC experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to use a variety of mechanical lifts, transfer belts and therapy equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
