Position: Marketing Assistant

Level: Entry Level

What You'll Do:

As a Marketing Assistant, you'll play a key role in bringing our promotional and VIP events to life under the guidance of the Director of Marketing. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and distribute promotional gifts, ensuring our guests feel valued and appreciated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help organize and execute exciting promotional events, gift giveaways, and special activities.
• Distribute promotional gifts with a smile and engage with guests to enhance their experience.
• Keep track of promotional inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling event displays and materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement innovative promotional strategies.
• Ensure that all activities comply with gaming regulations and company policies.
• Gather and utilize guest feedback to continually improve our offerings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in marketing or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in customer service or promotions, ideally in hospitality or gaming.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission License.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift varying weights as needed.
