Job Description
Position Overview
Role Summary:Ensures timely, accurate, and reliable administration of physical therapy services for inpatient, outpatient, and clinic-based care. Delivers therapy treatments in accordance with established protocols, maintains detailed treatment records, progress notes, and billing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Maintain service delivery standards emphasizing customer satisfaction, quality integration, effective communication, and compliance with corporate and healthcare regulations.
- Clean and prepare treatment tables and rooms after each patient session.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, in-services, and ongoing educational activities.
- Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists, reporting patient progress or changes in condition to facilitate re-evaluation or adjustment of treatment plans.
- Support the maintenance of a safe, clean, and patient-friendly treatment environment.

Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program or equivalent with Associate’s of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant
Preferred:
- A combination of up to two years of education, training and clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Licensed or license-eligible by NY state as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- CPR certification within the first three months of employment.
