Job Description

Malone’s is a premier restaurant offering something for everyone. Less than two percent of beef processed in the world is rated as “prime beef,” and Malone’s is pleased to offer the widest selection of fresh, hand-cut USDA Prime steaks. In addition to a vast selection of steak, guests can enjoy freshly made salads, fresh fish and seafood selections, sandwiches, house favorites, and seasonal chef features. Malone’s is the perfect destination for lunch or dinner with family and friends, professional meetings, and celebrations. Carry-out dining is also available. Malone’s has been celebrating meals and milestones since 1998.

As a Malone’s Server, your job is to serve our guests with the mentality of 100% Guest Satisfaction. 100% of the Time. You will cater to guests’ needs while adhering to our service specifications to ensure the best possible experience for everyone who visits. Your goal is to ensure our guests leave happier than when they arrived.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
* Protect the establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
* Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting the menu; offering cocktails; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions with a positive attitude.
* Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices and identifying special dietary needs or requests.
* Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take prompt action to correct any issues.
* Stay up to date on current menu choices, specials, and kitchen availability.
* Serve orders by delivering food and beverages from the kitchen or bar, along with condiments and accompaniments.
* Anticipate additional guest needs and maintain attentive service throughout the dining experience.
* Maintain clean and organized tables by removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling beverages, and addressing any spills or guest needs.
* Open and pour wine at tableside with proper technique.
* Conclude the dining experience with sincere appreciation and an invitation to return.
* Perform light cleaning tasks and assist other team members as needed.
* Adhere to grooming and appearance standards at all times.
* Promptly resolve guest concerns or refer to management when appropriate.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours).
* Ability to lift, carry, and balance items up to 25 lbs. (trays, plates, beverages).
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
* Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions during service.
