Join our team at Dental Associates, where your expertise and patient-centered approach will make a meaningful difference in oral health.
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings and fluoride treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and best practices.
- Conduct oral health screenings and document findings to support the dentist’s diagnosis.
- Ensure a positive, comfortable patient experience in a collaborative and professional environment.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Licensure: Current dental hygienist license in Iowa.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with digital radiographs, intraoral photography, and dental practice management software.
- Physical Ability: Ability to perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and physical movement (standing, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 35 lbs).
- Experience: Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, OSHA, HIPAA compliance, and infection control protocols.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, teamwork, and relationship-building abilities.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to the practice’s philosophy and high standards of care.
