The Environmental Science Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach the following undergraduate courses during the 2025-2026 academic year.Job Description:
Fall 2025 and Spring 2026
Courses: EESC BC3800 Environmental Science Senior Seminar I (Fall) and EESC BC3801 Environmental Science Senior Seminar II (Spring)
Pay Rate: $13,250 per semester
Exact instructional assignments and other academic responsibilities are determined by the Chair or Director.
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- PhD required.
- Must be available on Thursday afternoons before or after class to meet with students and free to set up faculty meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with others.
Experience in environmental research a plus.
