Job Description

Responsible as a leader for the day to day management of assigned area. Guides staff in delivery of care and prudent decision making. Oversees daily operations under the direction of the Manager of Physician Practices and in conjunction with the Administrative Director of Practice Operations and/or Director of Specialty Practices. Monitors practice patterns and utilization of resources. Responsible for provision of services consistent with mission and goals of the health system, meeting or exceeding quality outcomes, regulatory and financial goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education- AA Degree in Medical Office Management, Medical Secretarial, or Business Administration or minimum 2yrs medical office experience.

Experience- Previous experience in an office setting, medical office experience preferred

Licensure/Certification- Must be licensed in the State of Maryland as required for the field for which degree is held.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Demonstrated typing skills, working knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of computer applications required. Expert("Super User") knowledge in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred. Database knowledge desired.
