What You'll Be Doing:
In this role, you’ll be the go-to support for the physician, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Here’s a sneak peek at what your day might look like:
- Master Scheduler: Keep the physician’s calendar in check and make sure appointments stay on track.
- Care Coordinator Extraordinaire: Order labs, meds, referrals, and more to ensure patients get the care they need.
- Scribe & Note-Taker: Capture accurate and thorough notes during appointments.
- Admin Support Hero: Answer phones, manage emails, and greet visitors with a smile.
- Project Coordination Pro: Oversee tasks and projects to make sure they’re done right and on time.
- Record Keeping Guru: Keep meticulous records (spreadsheets, databases, etc.) to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Travel and Expense Wizard: Manage travel, expenses, and all related documentation.
- Communication Connector: Maintain clear, open communication with the care team, patients, and families.
- Confidentiality Keeper: Always maintain discretion and confidentiality in everything you do.
What We’re Looking For:
- Medical Assistant Certification: You have a current Medical Assistant Certification – it’s Required!
- Experienced Multi-Tasker: You’ve worked as an executive assistant or in a similar role before, so you know how to juggle various responsibilities.
- Tech Savvy: You’re comfortable with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and phone systems – and you can easily adapt to new software.
- Communication Pro: Whether it’s with patients, the care team, or visitors, your communication skills are on point.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: You’ll need to keep track of everything and ensure no detail is overlooked.
- Independent but Collaborative: You’re great at working independently, but also a team player who knows when to ask for help.
- Confidentiality is Key: You understand the importance of keeping sensitive information under wraps.
- Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation: Since this is a field position, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a must!
- Experience with Seniors is a MUST
