Job Summary:
As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team in maintaining inventory accuracy through tightened inventory control practices in material picking/handling, cycle counting, and inventory discrepancy investigations. You will also be responsible for overseeing the delivery of goods to be used in the manufacturing process. In addition to these daily tasks, the Inventory Control Supervisor will support the Purchasing, Receiving, Accounting and Production teams by responding to inventory-related inquiries.
Job Duties:
Responsible for creating and maintaining inventory control practices leading to best-in-class inventory accuracy
Troubleshoot and determine root cause - fix the problem, not the symptom
Assist with all activities pertaining to Production Inventory
Manage receiving and put away of all incoming materials
Manage the material handling process
Stocking subcomponents for subsequent picking
Managing Kanban levels where appropriate
Management of consignment inventory
Coordinate cycle counting high-turnover materials regularly
Responsible for the update and maintenance of inventory in NetSuite ERP system
Responsible for maintaining organized and clean warehouse storage locations.
Plan and execute physical inventories
Physical Inventory every 12 months
Coordinated under supervision of the Controller
Supports manufacturing and purchasing by communicating material shortages
Assist with inventory allocation and relief of inventory
Manage transportation of materials between facilities
Warehouse cleanliness and organization
Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the manufacturing/logistics industry
- One year leadership or supervisory experience; preferred
- Proficiency with lean manufacturing tools and concepts; preferred
- Previous forklift and material handling equipment experience preferred
- Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift light to medium weight up to 50 lbs.
- May stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather conditions; climates, temperatures, and conditions
- May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
