Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be able to operate critical machines, coach on processes and validate batches
• Meet established production and quality standards
• Assign job duties to 1st shift team members to maximize output, efficiency, and maintain continuity
• Provide feedback on any problems experienced during the shift to their supervisor
• Handling any team issues during the shift
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines, able to properly prioritize
• Demonstrate leadership qualities to their group
• Ability to maintain TPM standards and problem solve machine issues to keep machines operating during second shift
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
• Have good housekeeping habits and strict adherence to safety
• Take personal ownership and pride or quality work in the department
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.
