Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests with a warm, friendly demeanor.
- Accurately processing guest orders and payments using our point-of-sale system.
- Guiding and recommending options for guests based on their preferences.
- Providing detailed information about menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens.
- Assisting guests with questions or special requests, ensuring all dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Maintaining a clean and organized cashier counter and surrounding area.
- Collaborating with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Addressing and resolving guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Balancing the cash register at the end of each shift and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Upholding all food safety and hygiene standards.
- The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including familiarity with menu items and ingredients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- A positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to enhance the guest experience.
- Previous experience in a cashier role within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
- Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Participate in NC ABC training.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Interested in a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Confident with technology and point of sales systems.
- Willing to learn and grow in the role.
