Hvac Technician

Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of a HVAC Technician We are a family owned company who has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing all the products we sell. In addition, must be comfortable contributing/working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun work environment. Primary duties include:

• Repair heating, cooling and ventilation systems
• Inspect & perform regularly scheduled maintenance of HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot equipment & assist customer with repair/replace decision
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests

Job Requirements:

• EPA certified Type 2 or better
• 3 years experience and/or training from an accredited trade school
• Pass a DOT physical & drug test
• Clean background
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to participate daily in physical labor
• Need to be flexible with hours
• Be friendly & respectful towards customers and their property
• Problem solving skills
• Must be able to read schematics
