Job Description

We are looking for a Risk Analyst. You will participate in key risk management activities such as assessing global foreign currency (FX) exposures, executing FX hedge transactions, and reporting outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Support design and implementation FX hedging programs.
- Identify FX risks and assess potential financial impacts associated with forecasted P&L and/or balance sheet exposures.
- Ensure FX exposures are accurately forecasted using historical data, understanding of business seasonality, and working with various internal stakeholders.
- Perform FX trading and support execution of other internal transactions.
- Ensure timely recording of all transaction details into the risk management system.
- Support accounting for hedging / derivatives activities.
- Support preparation of quarterly financial reports, reconciliations, controls, and disclosures related to hedging activities.
- Assist in preparation of FX performance reports and other presentation materials for C-level review.
- Develop internal FX rate forecasts for use in planning processes.
- Analyze and explain changes in the hedge portfolio, including quarter-end balance sheet flux.
- Lead interactions with controllership and back-office teams to ensure hedging instruments are appropriately setup and valued on an ongoing basis.
- Support improved forecasting of hedge related P&L, balance sheet and cash flow estimates.
- Support periodic assessments of risk metrics such as Value at-Risk (“VaR”) of portfolios and back-testing of hedge programs.
- Develop a good working knowledge of FX market conditions and drivers.
- Perform ad-hoc quantitative analyses and other responsibilities as needed.
What Skills You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA or other advanced technical degree is a plus.
- Prior experience with Treasury / derivative transactions and valuation is a plus.
- Experience in accounting or Business Finance required.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational, analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Strong systems and Excel capabilities including familiarity with SAP S4/CFIN; Bloomberg is a plus.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and process focused.
- Conscientious and diligent in work.
- Effective cross-team communicator and collaborator.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot/handle complex issues with minimal supervision.
