Position: Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Unit Location: Hudson, Florida Employment Type: Full-Time, Regular Department: Medical-Surgical

Overview: A leading healthcare provider in Hudson is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its Medical-Surgical team. This opportunity is ideal for nurses passionate about providing high-quality care to adult patients across a range of conditions within a collaborative and supportive environment. Candidates with LTACH experience are encouraged to apply—training is available for those with 2–3 years of relevant background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Med-Surg patients.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and medication instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including diagnostic test results and clinical documentation.
• Administer prescribed medications in compliance with physician orders.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (Florida license must be obtained within 90 days if compact license is held).
• Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA) certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, strong communication, and service-oriented care delivery.
• Ability to interpret instructions and navigate electronic medical records effectively.

• Candidates with 2–3 years of LTACH experience will be considered and trained for this role.
