Isoftstone Careers - Technical Project Manager

iSoftStone, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Team in the Redmond, WA Office!

This is a one-year contract role with a global technology company.

Responsibilities:

● Manage the prototyping and engineering builds, working with external suppliers

● Coordinate the electrical engineering design and release, conduct bug triage meetings and communicate the progress. Generate the program bug report and effectively communicate the risks.

● Support the BOM release, document release and HW release management

● Generate the build configuration matrix, manage sample allocation, and oversee shipping, distribution, and tracking logistics

● Organize the program reports and documentation

● Improve the product development process

● Supplier Engagement:

○ Drive the Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier engagement

○ Drive the parts delivery on time and meeting quality bar ○ Purchase the parts for the build.

● Build Management: drive the CTB plan (critical to the build), and manage the build

● Build up and maintain the program schedule. And work with team to meet the schedule

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree at minimum in electrical engineering or related majors

● 8+ years of Program Management/Project Management experience

● Experience in managing the release, manufacturing build or NPI.

● Experience in EE, ME or SW development or in technical environment

● Experience with agile project management methodology, Jira, or similar tools

● Knowledge of test, debug or validation cycles

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in managing the BOM release, managing the build or managing the manufacturing

● Enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, self-motivation in the fast-paced competitive environment

● Experience with hardware or software development

● Strong written and verbal communication skills

● Strong coordination skills and communication skills

● Experience in using Jira, or other bug tracking tools.

Primary Location Pay Range: $65 to $72/hour ($130,000 to $149,000/yearly)
