POSITION TITLE: Assistant District Attorney
LOCATION: McAlester, Pittsburg County
STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt, Immediate Opening
CLOSING: Open Until Filled
SALARY: $60,000 or more, commensurate with experience.
BENEFITS: Full State of Oklahoma benefits, including generous monthly allowance for health coverage, paid sick and vacation leave earned monthly. Paid holidays.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The 18th Prosecutorial District for Pittsburg and Haskell Counties is seeking a fulltime Assistant District Attorney for the Pittsburg County Office to begin immediately. The McAlester Office at full capacity is a four-attorney office with 11 support staff. Caseload assignments will primarily be general felonies and property crimes, as well as the criminal misdemeanor and traffic dockets, and is subject to change based on caseload and applicant's interest and experience.
Prior prosecutorial experience is preferred but not required.
