Job Description
Position Summary
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life/disability insurance, etc.)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in HRIS and with carriers
- Support annual open enrollment, including communications and system updates
- Ensure benefits compliance with federal and state laws (COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, ERISA)
- Assist with leave administration (FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD, personal leave)
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to benefits
- Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in HRIS and benefits platforms
- Contribute to wellness and employee engagement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in HR or benefits administration
- Strong understanding of benefits compliance requirements and HR best practices
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workforce, Dynamics 365, etc.)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
