Assistant Director Of Nursing Sign On Bonus Up To $7500

What You'll Do:

• Support the Director of Nursing Services (DON) in planning, developing, organizing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department.

• Oversee nursing staff performance, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Assist with onboarding, training, mentoring, and evaluating nursing staff.

• Monitor and improve patient care delivery and outcomes.

• Participate in care planning, resident assessments, and interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Help lead investigations, audits, and quality assurance/performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives.

• Step in as Acting director of Nursing when needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Current RN license in New York State (Required)

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or related healthcare setting

• Prior leadership experience (ADON, Unit Manager, or Nursing Supervisor preferred but not required)

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, including DOH compliance

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills

• Passion for providing outstanding care and developing strong nursing teams
