- Supervises and support the daily operations of the restaurant including guest relations, flow of business, and service standards.
- Supervises and coordinate front-of-house responsibilities, task, workflow, service, and delivery and to ensure optimal customer service.
- Ensures the standard of food, service, safety, and cleanliness is maintained and executed.
- Maintains a clean, organized and welcoming dining areas at all times.
- Ensures supplies, utensils, and equipment are always functional and readily available for customers.
- Assist management in setting goals for teams in accordance with company and division plan and vision, assigns responsibilities and tasks, provides development opportunities, and feedback to team.
- Assists in the development of work schedules for maximum efficiency and as workflow designates.
- Ensures team adhere to department policies, procedures, and standards; provides feedback to management as needed.
- Inspects food items, work areas, etc. for the purpose of preventing cross-contamination of food borne illnesses and cleanliness.
- Determine and maintain inventory of various items and products for the including, but not limited to food ingredients, drinks, snacks and disposables.
- Assists in maintaining adequate inventory levels in order to meet forecasts for future sales.
- Assists staff in facilitating stocking of merchandise. Includes utilizing FIFO (first in, first out) of perishable items.
- Receives and stores items for kitchen use, keeps storeroom clean and organized
- Ensures all restaurant equipment within the kitchens are functioning appropriately. Timely report with Facilities and/or Operations teams for repairs and follow up as necessary.
- Assists in developing and updating SOPs.
- Provides timely communication, updates and any issues or concerns to management.
- Operates cash register in order to compute bills; ensures accuracy of collection and disbursement money. Modifies and issues receipts to customers.
- Utilizes instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform daily functions.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum two (2) years of related experience in a restaurant environment.
- Valid California’s driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
- ServSafe Manager Certification required.
- California Food Handler’s Certificate required.
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required.
Pay Range: $20.52-$29.00/hr
