Description
A.T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) is seeking non-exempt Pre-Clinical Adjunct Faculty on the Kirksville, Missouri, campus. Adjunct faculty members provide hands-on, pre-clinical instruction to first and second year dental students.
Requirements
Please note that adjunct positions are only filled on an as-needed basis.
Major Job Duties
Instruct an assigned group of first- or second-year dental students in a simulated patient-care (laboratory) environment
Assess and record students' daily progress using standardized grading criteria
Assist with grading of students' SOAP notes, professionalism, and daily laboratory projects
Attend required faculty calibration sessions
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
DDS, DMD, or BD degree
Team oriented
Willing to work with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff in a collegial manner
