Job Description

We are searching for a Physical Therapist to join our team at the Corona, CA manufacturing facility. This role will focus on improving employee health and reducing workplace injuries through ergonomics, body mechanics training, and early intervention. The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial setting, a strong foundation in Kinesiology, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and job-specific movement analysis on the factory floor.
- Design and implement preventative programs such as daily warm-up/stretch routines and mobility workshops.
- Coach employees on proper posture, lifting techniques, and repetitive motion injury prevention.
- Provide early intervention and basic first aid for musculoskeletal complaints to prevent escalation.
- Track and analyze trends in movement-related discomforts or repetitive injuries and recommend adjustments.
- Partner with Safety, HR, and Production teams to identify high-risk tasks and develop action plans.
- Develop educational materials and lead training sessions in English and Spanish.
- Support the safety team in incident investigation as it relates to physical movement and strain.
- Maintain confidential documentation and assist in injury reporting compliance where appropriate.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety and employee well-being.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of California.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
- Undergraduate or additional academic background in Kinesiology or Exercise Science highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or occupational health environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Strong understanding of ergonomics, movement pattern analysis, and physical risk mitigation.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Must be comfortable working in a high-volume production environment and on the factory floor.

If this is a remote position, the pay scale disclosed herein may be adjusted further based upon the applicable geographic differential associated with the location from which the successful candidate will work. Please note that it is not typical for a Fender employee to be at or near the top of the pay scale for their role - especially as a new hire - and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $70,000 to $125,000 per year.
