Job Description

Essential duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage activities associated with inbound and outbound warehouse operations
- Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements
- Optimize employee workflow and make suggestions for productivity improvements
- Ensure reduction of financial loss related to damaged products
- Analyze shipment logs and review timelines of scheduled deliveries
- Move inventory around by scheduling materials to be moved to-and-from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments
- Review and edit payroll and commission reports, submit reports for payment
- Opens and closes the shift
- Train, guide, and evaluate new warehouse workers periodically
- Ensure that facility vehicles and equipment are properly maintained
- Determine and track most important KPIs
- Maintain storage area clean by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommends improvements when needed
- Deliver supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items
- Accomplish warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's or an associate degree in administration, retail, merchandising, supply chain or any related field of study preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
- Forklift and OSHA certified preferred
- Experience of 2 to 3 years in warehousing or supply chain management
- Exceptional leadership skills and directing abilities
- Strong interpersonal, motivational capabilities, and communication skills
- Understanding of all safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines
- Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
