Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible as a member of an in-house team of developers to meet the increasingly specific and varied technology requirements of the business.
Work as a member of a small, multi-functional development team.
Develop high quality applications and reporting systems.
Communicate with Red Roof business users to improve in-house software.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Two or Four-year university degree or technical school diploma in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field, and/or 3+ years equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of current IT protocols and standards.
Experience in developing applications that will meet business objectives.
Self-motivated and self-directed. Attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong end-user customer service orientation.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft O365 and Teams.
Must have knowledge and 3+ years of experience working with:
JavaScript
HTML
General programming design pattern
Transact-SQL
Familiarity with Node.js, Angular.JS, or React.JS.
Pluses include experience in Agile development methodology, Bootstrap, financial or accounting systems.
Less than 10% travel.
