About the Opportunity:

GreenLife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per-diem position in a rehabilitation facility located in Albuquerque, NM. This role focuses on delivering targeted therapy and support to patients with communication and swallowing challenges, helping them regain critical functions and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy sessions tailored to individual rehab goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab teams for comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on carry-over strategies and home programs
• Document assessments, progress, and discharge summaries accurately
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols and industry regulations

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Licensure: Active New Mexico SLP license
• Certifications: BLS certification required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in a rehab or acute care setting preferred
• Technical Skills: Skilled in diagnostics, individualized care planning, and therapy techniques
• Soft Skills: Compassionate communicator, team-oriented, flexible
