Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Design, build and operate integrated test labs to support the development and certification of Archer's eVTOL aircraft
  • Work with subsystem stakeholders to develop test lab equipment electrical requirements
  • Design electrical wiring interconnect and instrumentation systems to be used for hardware integration test labs
  • Select components to be used in lab builds
  • Modify conformal wiring harnesses to add wiring for test lab specific needs (tap-ins, relays, data logging, switches, power supplies)
  • Manage external suppliers to procure lab components and/or manufacture Archer designed test equipment and oversee fabrication through final buy-off
  • Aid technicians in installation and check-out of test equipment to ensure proper function

What You Need

  • 5+ years of electrical design experience with either product design and/or test equipment in aerospace, automotive, or a related industry
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Understanding of communication protocols (ARINC, CAN, Ethernet, Serial)
  • Familiarity with aviation or aerospace lab test hardware including tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters
  • Strong electrical design skills with the ability to own a project from requirements through detailed design and fabrication

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $94,080.00 - $117,600.00. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
