Redfield Community Memorial Hospital and Clinic is seeking a qualified individual to join our team!

Position Highlights

Job Summary:

  • Performs a variety of technical procedures in general radiology, EKG, Holter Moniter, and CT exams. Demonstrates knowledge of and utilizes appropriate patient care and protocols relating to the needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients as set forth in the unit/department Policy and Procedure Manual.

Essential Physical Demands:

  • Heavy work requiring pushing, pulling, caring, holding and lifting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 30 pounds of force consistently in order to move objects including the human body and portable equipment
  • Good hearing and communication skills are necessary for dealing with patients, visitors, nurses, physicians and other staff
  • Good manual dexterity is necessary for dialing, filing, grasping, holding, indexing, keyboarding, opening, reaching, removing, sorting, stapling, turning and writing
  • Up to 80 percent of your time is spent standing or walking

Work Environment:

  • All work will be in a well-lighted, ventilated, indoor environment
  • Due to the possibility of radiation exposure, particular standards and procedures must be strictly adhered to
  • There is the potential of exposure to blood and body fluids and hazardous chemicals
  • Personal protective equipment will be available and required in some cases

Equipment Used to Perform Job:

  • All work will be done using highly technical specialized equipment including work stations, processors and all types of specialized imaging equipment

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and/or be trained to perform Radiologic procedures in a successful completion of qualifying exams

Licenses/Certificates:

  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists/Radiologic Technician must have medical experience and be trained to perform Radiologic procedures in a successful completion of qualifying exams. Maintaining continuing education.

Experience:

  • Hospital experience preferred
